Outside the season and during special events, the yoga classes take place in our light-filled room on the 5th floor.
You can choose your favourite sessions from the current class timetable. All sessions are aimed at both guests staying at the Mariandl and true Rügen locals.

Your yoga teacher at Mariandl am Meer
Ina Böhme has been teaching with passion and dedication for many years – and you can feel that in every class. Her yoga journey has been long, varied and full of enthusiasm. As a qualified yoga teacher, relaxation instructor and mindfulness trainer, she combines in-depth knowledge with a keen sense of what you need at any given moment. Her motto: Everything grows when it flows – and that’s exactly how her classes feel.
Find your style – yoga as unique as you are
– Hatha Yoga: Mindful movements, conscious breathing and clear focus – each session concentrates on a specific area such as the shoulders, neck or lower back. Ideal for beginners or for deepening your own practice. The session ends with a soothing relaxation for body and mind.
– Yin Yoga: You hold gentle poses for several minutes, letting go and sinking gently into the depths. Yin Yoga works on your fascia, organs and inner balance – quiet, intense and restorative.
– Mindfulness Yoga: Here, it’s your awareness that counts, not your performance. You move consciously, breathe mindfully and find peace step by step. Meditation and deep relaxation complement each session.
– Back Yoga: Targeted exercises strengthen your core, mobilise the spine and release tension. Shoulders, hips and knees are also included – for a noticeable sense of lightness in everyday life.
An offer for anyone looking for more than just a beach holiday

What you should bring with you
All you need to take part in the yoga classes is comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. For gentler sequences, such as in Yin Yoga or during the final relaxation, we recommend warm socks and a cosy jumper. And it’s best not to eat anything heavy two hours before the class – this will make the practice feel even more enjoyable.
